The main process of die-cutting and molding is: upper die→put the bottom plate→adjust the pressure→test pressure die-cutting→positioning→formal die-cutting molding→remove waste→finished product inspection→point packing
1. Upper die
First, compare the finished die with the drawings or samples to see if it meets the requirements. Check whether the blade of the steel knife has gaps and the sharpness of the knife; whether the position of the steel knife and the drawn steel line is accurate, whether the cutting line of the opening and slotting is a whole knife, and whether the turning position of the line is a rounded or right angle; in order to facilitate removal Scrap, whether the two steel knife excuses are tightly formed into one piece; whether there are sharp corners at both ends of the steel knife interface, etc. If the above problems occur in the die, you should immediately ask the technicians of the die factory to fix it or make a new die. Then install the finished die on the die-cutting machine.
2. Put the bottom plate
Since most of the punches are flattened, and the bottom of the punch is solid iron, a bottom plate is generally placed below to facilitate mold adjustment.
3. Adjust the pressure
After placing the bottom plate, you can adjust the pressure. First, start the machine to test a few times and flatten the steel knife. If the marks on both sides of the bottom plate are different, you should adjust the pressure or increase or decrease the backing layer to make the knife line pressure consistent. Also make sure that the die cut position is centered so that production will be faster and save material.
4. Trial pressure die cutting
After completing the above work, first punch a few products and compare them with the samples to see if they meet the standards, or if there are other problems such as burrs. After the inspectors check and confirm, they can be mass-produced.
5. Positioning
When it is confirmed that it can be mass-produced, the general die-cutting master will position the material, which is convenient for production and reduces more processes for the die-cutting master.
6. Formal die cutting
Formal die-cutting does not mean that there will be no problems in die-cutting. It must be checked regularly. If there are any problems, they can be solved in time.
