Due to the heat-resistant and breathable nature of the operating environment for heat-shrink machines, Teflon mesh belts have found widespread application thanks to their inherent advantages. Consequently, Teflon mesh belts are also referred to as heat-shrink machine belts or film-packaging machine belts. Based on mesh size, Teflon mesh belts can be categorized as 1×1 mm, 2×2.5 mm, 4×4 mm, and 10×1 mm; based on color, they are available in brown and gray-black. After a comprehensive comparison, we recommend selecting the 4×4 mm belt, as it is made from a double-warp, double-weft glass-fiber mesh pre-impregnated with a fluoropolymer-based moisture-retaining emulsion, offered in brown. Another important consideration regarding the application of mesh belts is that the equipment must be installed to standard; otherwise, the service life of the heating elements will be shortened. For mesh-belt conveyor systems, improper or skewed installation can cause the conveyor belt to deviate from its centerline, thereby reducing the service life of the Teflon mesh belt.
