Teflon high-temperature fabric, also known as PTFE high-temperature fabric, is a fiber-reinforced composite material produced by impregnating high-performance glass-fiber cloth with a polytetrafluoroethylene emulsion. It is a high-performance, multi-purpose new composite material widely used in industries such as aerospace, papermaking, food processing, environmental protection, printing and dyeing, apparel, chemical engineering, glass manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, electronics, electrical insulation, construction (as the base fabric for tensile membrane structures), abrasive wheel cutting, and machinery. Applications include corrosion-resistant coatings and linings, anti-adhesive conveyor belts, high-frequency copper-clad laminates, architectural membrane materials, insulating materials, microwave drying conveyor belts, flexible compensators, and friction materials.
